DeathSpank is a comical action RPG from Ron Gilbert, one of the creators of The Secret of Monkey Island. You can expect a mix of engaging role-playing mechanics and Monkey Island-style humor. Our titular hero is on the hunt for a vague treasure he calls The Artifact. His colorful world is presented in a rolling log style, similar to the most recent versions of Animal Crossing.

Yeah, yeah – we've all heard that the music game thing is played out. That's why Activision has reinvented Guitar Hero as an adventure where you melt faces to defeat evil, not just gain a bunch of points. Rocking hard transforms your shredder into a Warrior of Rock, complete with an epic spirit form and bonus powers. It sounds way out-there, but that's what's needed to jolt this seemingly stale franchise back to life.

The thugs are back with a bunch of new multiplayer modes and a style that makes it look like their violent antics were ripped from a twisted reality TV show. It looks Kane and Lynch 2 is going to make betraying your friends a ton of fun.

LEGO games have been part of our videogame culture for years now, and it seems that no matter what, we always get excited for the next entrant in the series. LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 has us all hot under our Gryffindor scarves because it looks to be the biggest LEGO game yet. There's magic to wield, multiplayer to master, and classic Potter moments to relive. Who doesn't want to fight a giant LEGO troll or fly on Harry's broomstick? Wait, did that sound dirty? Because I wanted it to.


Madden NFL 11

Madden's big hook this year is Online Team Play. Now you can play with up to six players with a maximum of three on either side. The developers have revamped both the camera and the way players choose their position on the field. Add in stat boosts that are awarded for good performance and you have the makings of some great multiplayer football.
